Offshore Structures Test

This test confirms the motion and mooring performance of offshore structures such as floating oil and gas platforms and offshore wind turbines in waves, winds, and currents. The model test enables us to verify the safety of the floating and mooring structures and towing and installation work.

Offshore Structures Test

Single-Point Mooring Test

In a single-point mooring system, such as Turret Mooring, wind and currents cause swaying movement. This test is designed to confirm the mooring performance and motion of a moored floating structure in waves, wind, and currents, including swaying movement.

Mooring Tests for Multiple Floating Structures

In recent years, due to the increasing demand for Floating Storage Unit (FSU)/Floating Storage and Regasification Unit (FSRU), a system in which two or more floating vessels are moored in close proximity to each other for loading and unloading is being considered. To deal with the problem of floating structure movement, tank tests can be used to measure the safety of the floating structure and the loads acting on the mooring lines and fenders.
